I have a 2002 Pace Arrow Motorhome and the slide out topper has ripped at the threads on the motorhome side. this allows water to accumulate in the center of the topper and and when the rain builds up it lets water go thru the torn threads and run down the inside of the slide out and enter the unit getting the carpet soaked. I will be replacing this topper with a Tough Top vinyl top. I will place a video of the installation when the installation is complete.

I have installed the new topper, but unfortunately I didn’t film it. You can see how its done if you go to The RV Geeks website. They show how they replaced thier topper. I have had it installed for a year now and it works great. I used the vinyl material because I thought that the water would runoff meter than other materials. I am not associated with them in any way, but they do have a lot of good information on their site with detailed videos.
